Advanced POD Detection - Feedback Modal Introduced to Invoice Details Page

Product: Triumph NextGen Audit
Initiative: Advanced POD Detection (Phase 1)
Version: 1.0
Release Date: June 29, 2026

Summary

A temporary Feedback Modal is now available in NextGen Audit as part of our initiative to improve the way we detect and classify PODs. It gives your team a direct way to dispute Proof of Delivery (POD) decisions inside the product, indicating which check they disagree with and what the correct outcome should have been.

Before we build a permanent, full-scale experience, we're using this pilot to confirm that structured, in-product feedback works for your team. Your participation helps us validate the workflow and shape what comes next. This release marks the first phase of Advanced POD Detection, our initiative to make audit automation more transparent, more adaptable, and more responsive to how your business actually operates.

What's New

When one of your auditors disagrees with a POD outcome, they can now dispute it right where the work happens: no tickets, no extra steps. The Feedback Modal appears directly on the details page accessed from your Audit queues. From there, your auditor simply selects the specific POD check they're disputing, indicates what the correct outcome should have been, and submits all without leaving the review experience.

Key details:

Where to find it

The modal is found on the Invoice Details page. It appears when the user toggles the checkbox above the document viewer.

What you can provide

The modal asks for context as to "why this document is not a POD for this load. The user can select from:

  1. Missing Signature
  2. Has Damages
  3. Other - with an open text field to provide full context

What happens with the feedback
Disputes are submitted directly within the invoice and document review experience—no tickets, no workarounds, and no need to leave the platform. All feedback will contribute to the evolution of our AI language models for document detection going forward.

Available before or after processing
You can submit feedback even after an invoice has been approved or fully processed, so nothing slips through the cracks.

What's Next

The Feedback Modal is currently live for all NextGen Audit brokers. We're monitoring submission volume, feedback quality, and ticket deflection to confirm that in-product dispute workflows deliver real value before we expand further.

Advanced POD Detection: Phase 1 Functionality

Product: Triumph NextGen Audit
Initiative: Advanced POD Detection (Phase 1—MVP)
Release Date: June 29, 2026
Status: Rolled out gradually to customers throughout Q3

Please note: this functionality is NOT YET AVAILABLE to all NextGen Audit customers. Each customer will be informed by Triumph before this functionality goes live in their account.

Overview

Advanced POD Detection brings new transparency and control to how Proof of Delivery (POD) decisions get made in NextGen Audit. This first release gives your team a clear view into the checks behind every POD decision and a direct way to weigh in when you disagree.

What's New

Visibility of POD detection reasoning

Users can now see exactly how NextGen Audit evaluated whether each document met the criteria of a POD. The invoice details page displays a clear breakdown of which checks passed, failed, or were skipped, regardless of whether the POD passed or failed overall.

For this initial release, the breakdown includes three checks:

  • Document Type Review: Confirms whether a document allowed as a POD is present in the batch.

  • Signature Review: Confirms whether the document is signed.

  • Damages and Rates Review: Confirms whether damages or a carrier rate appear on the document.

The view shows outcomes only, reinforcing that all indexing checks are completed within NextGen Audit. There's no need to dig through configurations or open a ticket to understand a decision.

Account-Level POD Settings

Users with Settings access can now view what defines a POD for their account. For this release, the settings page displays the current configuration: signature required and no damages required.

Key details:

  • Available to broker users with Settings access and to your Triumph customer success team.
  • Located near the existing "POD presence required" setting for easy reference.
  • Editing capabilities are planned for a future release, and modifications are tracked for a clear audit trail.

What's Coming Next

We're rolling out Advanced POD Detection in stages across Q3 2026. In upcoming phases, you can expect:

  • Expanded availability to more NextGen Audit brokers.
  • Editable account-level POD settings.
  • Support for additional POD definitions and new checks.

We'll communicate proactively and provide training as we bring more brokers and capabilities online.

Why It Matters

This release is designed to deliver measurable value to your operation:

  • Transparency: See exactly why a POD was accepted or rejected, with full visibility into what passed, failed, or was skipped on each document.

  • Efficiency: Fewer manual re-reviews and less back-and-forth, so your team spends less time chasing answers and more time moving work forward.

  • Control: Structured feedback lets your team correct the system in real time, giving you greater authority over your documentation and workflows.

  • Continuous Improvement: Every dispute you submit directly informs the AI and machine learning models behind POD detection, sharpening accuracy over time.
